Anne Phung Nguyen

I am Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in the beautiful Orange County California with my incredible fianc JP as well as my extremely happy Dad Henry. Most people know me through my Instagram @annephung where I write about my experiences - highs, lows and all between. My parents took me to America around 1990, and I was only one and a half years old. of age. I would not be sharing my story with you today without my parents' efforts to work to the max and sacrifice. In order to give them the chance to have a prospering future, I focused on achieving success and put in the effort to get there. My goal was: I would study at university, land an employment in a company, marry and buy an apartment. Although I was convinced that this was the standard for success, life had different strategies. The money and the status of my work was not what I wanted to be. I believed that I had wasted my time for money. I had a passion for fitness and having fun and helping people as I navigated towards the new direction in my life. I was drawn to training for personal trainers. In 2014, I started my small-scale business. I am celebrating my 7th anniversary in 2021. Very few Asian women work in this industry. As an instructor, my aim is to encourage others and help them lead a an active and healthy life by designing sustainable, healthy and happy lifestyles tailored to the individual's needs and goals. Also, I want to inspire others to pursue the goals they have set for themselves to accomplish whatever they wish to do. When my work was waning off, I was struck by the worst loss of my life to datein the death of my Mom. She won her 8-year battle with Scleroderma and is resting in Heaven along with me in my mind and heart throughout the day. Life has the ability to provide us with precisely what we require, even when we're unable to recognize the lesson at this moment. Many ways, my mother's passing changed me. I truly believe she provided me with another chance to experience her loss. When she passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was the time to embark on her new life, and also for me to get my second chance of living happily, content and purposeful life. In my 30's, I'm alive and alert. I am truly aware that I am living the present rather than merely living as the person I was back in my previous. As I write this story I would like to hope that my stories will be of interest to those of you. I hope that my words can help people realize that they aren't in isolation. It is my hope that you will have the ability to achieve anything that your heart desires. I wish you to live the best life possible and that you die without regrets because dying is the only thing that we are promised in our life.
