Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on August 20, 1974 in Aviano Italy American actress. Famous for her critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive individuals. Adams was the youngest of seven siblings who grew up as a child in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father was employed by the U.S. Military in Italy. Mid-1990s, she started doing professional dance and performance at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she worked in a regional theatre where her character in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a parody documentary about beauty pages. Her debut as a screen actress was an attractive, bright-eyed contestant. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles in order to explore a career acting. Leigh, who was introduced to her through the actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a deal with MGM to launch her film career star in the late 40s. The decade following she was in a variety of well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
